Storyline:

The movie dates back to 1951. Here, two incidents take place; The birth of the hero and the other in the Kolar Gold Fields (K.G.F) they get gold. The hero is brought up in poverty. When he is very young itself he goes to Mumbai to become a mafia don. His mother’s wish was to see her son rich and powerful. After being in Mumbai for some time he returns back. Will he be able to become a Don? Will, he set his people free from age-old slavery? Forms the plot of the movie? In the 1970s, a fierce rebel rises against brutal oppression and becomes the symbol of hope to legions of downtrodden people.

KGF Chapter 1 proved to be one of the top-grossing movies at the box office in 2018. The film starring Rockstar Yash in the lead broke several records with its original Kannada version and its Hindi version.


According to reports, KGF 1 made around 135 crores in Karnataka alone and had surpassed Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’s box office collection in the state.


With its Hindi version, it dented Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero at the box office, which surprised many business pundits. The flick also became the 4th highest grosser Hindi-dubbed down south film.


However, it seems Sandalwood’s favorite mass hero Darshan’s Robert will put Yash’s KGF records at risk as it hit the big screen this week with its impressive screen numbers.


Challenging star Darshan’s latest release ‘Roberrt’ has been garnering positive feedback from fans across the globe.


Reportedly, Robert in Bengaluru city alone had 626 shows on day one of its release which is an all-time record for any Kannada movie.


It is being speculated that Robert's 1st-day box office collections would be around Rs 20 crore owing to the screen numbers, ticket price.


Meanwhile, fans of Darshan are placing bets that Robert will surpass Yash’s KGF box office records.


It is yet to be seen if Robert overtakes KGF’s box office collection, but movie buffs will definitely have a good time watching the mass entertainer after the long covid lockdown hiatus.


The film star cast includes Jagapathi Babu, P. Ravi Shankar, Ravi Kishan, Asha Bhat along with Darshan.
