Step 1.

First of all you have to go to the website of YouTube. You do not have to login to your YouTube account after visiting the YouTube website.

Step 2.

After clicking the Sign In link you will be asked to login or sign in to your Google or Gmail account. So, enter your Google email ID and password one by one in the box and then click on “Next” below.

Step 3.

Now, after logging in to your YouTube account, if you have created a channel, select your channel.

Now to select your YouTube channel you will see “profile icon” on the top right of the YouTube page and you have to click on it.

After clicking on the profile icon you will see some options. From the given options, you click on the “My channel” link.

In this way, your YouTube channel will be selected and from now on, all the videos that you upload will be uploaded to your channel or the selected channel.

Step 4.

Now that your channel is selected, you can upload your own video directly. You will now see a "Video icon" at the top of your YouTube page for uploading videos to YouTube. You click on that video icon.

After clicking on the video icon you will see two more options. Among those options, you first click on the “Upload video” option.

Now after clicking on Upload video you will see the upload page. In the middle of the upload page you will see the text "Select file to upload".

As I have shown in the picture above, you have to click directly on "Select file to upload".

Now after clicking on select file, the file manager of your computer will open from where you can save the video from your computer.

Now save the video and click on the “Open” option below. This will start uploading your video to YouTube.

Step 7.

After selecting the video file and clicking on open, you will see a page where you can see how many videos have been uploaded and whether the whole has been uploaded. You can also see at the top of the page how long it will take for the video to be fully uploaded.

Remember, once the video is 100% uploaded, you must click the "Publish" button on the right. This will allow your uploaded video to be published on your channel and anyone can watch your video on YouTube.

One more important thing, when the video is going to be uploaded, you must write something about your video in the "Description" box at the bottom of the page. This will allow people to understand what your video is about before they watch it.
