Corvus Os 7.0 Rom For Oneplus & Other Devices : Great For Gaming...But ?

So we do have stock ui with not much appsthat were pre installed but you do get google play services pre installed so one less thingto do and right from the launcher you can see a lot of customisations like icon packsupport which is usually not there with stock launcher and you can even choose differenticon packs for all your apps so that’s good. 

And apart from that you do get double tapgesture and other gestures are supported as well which is great.But one more feature thatmost of you usually ask for is here and that is an in built app locker so you can lockany apps you want and even hide them from app drawer if that is what you want and ido get a lot of questions about this so yeah this one has it. 

Anyways in settings you will be greeted withoxygen os specific settings first like dc dimming and alert slider settings along withsome panel modes and one thing i did observe with this one is that the color calibrationhas been done quite nicely and the colors look vivid and sharp. And just below those you get settings likecustomising the app notifications ,edge lighting feature , charging animations , led controlsand more. Plus you do get the ability to customise screenshottype , system animations and that three finger screenshot option is there too. 

In lockscreen customisation you can changethe lockscreen shortcuts to anything you want and customise clock with various fonts , stylesand themes which is usually not provided to this level with other roms. And there are other options too that i willleave it up to you guys to explore all right. 

Moving on to the next tab well this one hasa lot of options to tweak the status bar starting off with a battery bar that helps in caseyou wish to have more items in your status bar ,you do get quite a few battery icon styles and the option to customise the charging ledcolor amongst other tweaks. Apart from all this you get options like customisingclock, status bar icons and it even comes with built in network speed indicators andmuch much more You can choose the network icon from a bunchof options and customise the quick settings tab to make it even more useful like keepinga track of your data usage and everything just works flawlessly without blinking aneye. 

In the final hardware tab as you might havejudged you get the options to customise all sort of buttons on the device , for exampleusing power key as a torch shortcut , you can toggle the position of volume controlsand even change the amount of volume to reduce or increase in a single step and even makesome tweaks to the navigation bar and power menu as well. 

Enough of these customizations let’s moveover to some interesting stuff now in the themes tab,so this one has a lot of themesinbuilt and you can tweak everything as per your taste and you get a live preview of thaton the top so that you can get a clear idea of what a theme will look like, there area bunch of fonts and icon shapes available among other things. 

If you need different theme for day nightor anytime you can set a schedule for that too and that theme will be automatically appliedat that time and it is a great add on , plus you do get a lot of default system themesto choose from and they all work nicely as they should and no bugs whatsoever. Moving on to the battery life and gaming onthis one , well it has been a good experience so far and i did try a lot of games and someeven for extended period of time, i did play a lot of games on smooth and extreme settingand while gameplay was great and it did give 60fps continuously plus there was no heatup either and this one does have a gaming mode that has all the basic options and worksjust fine. 

So there was no hint of lag or anything buti see the battery drop to be a bit on the higher side , it is great if you use the devicecontinuously and you can manage around 5-6 hrs which is good enough but while gamingand everyday usage the standby drain did seem a bit higher but this has to be one of thebest roms for gaming though. Anyways here are the screen on times thati got with this one. Apart from this you do get some other usefulfeatures like face unlock , smart charging and an always on display that too with quitea lot of customisation so its hard to beat this rom in terms of customisation it offers. 

Well i think you should definitely give ita shot if you do a lot of smartphone gaming as there was no lag or anything and it doeshave a ton of customisation too but you might get sort of mixed battery backup and if definitelystable and good enough to be used on your devices.
